Brief: NRPR was tasked to launch Deep VR’s Exodus: The Great Migration VR documentary in order to raise Deep VR’s profile, create awareness about its production division, and position it as Africa’s leading cinematic Wildlife VR production company.
Approach: We suggested a targeted media relations campaign that engaged key wildlife, conservation and environmental industry contacts, as well as lifestyle, travel and tech media. We invited key media contacts and strategic industry partners to an exclusive screening in Johannesburg. We created a press pack that included relevant media collateral and connected Deep VR with industry partners to discuss future collaborations.
Results: Our efforts saw us host 41 media and industry partners at the screening event, and within the project period, we generated 27 pieces of landmark media coverage. This media exposure helped cement Deep VR’s reputation and offering among the wildlife and conservation industries. We also generated interest from the media to join Deep VR on their next wildlife documentary shoot.
